Meet Dr. Sonia Mezquita
I am a licensed clinical psychologist, a certified therapist in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I am proud to be one of the few professionals in Southern California with this combination of credentials, specializing in supporting children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and my work is grounded in providing evidence-based treatments and assessments. I help children, adolescents, and adults address challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting struggles, and behavioral issues.
I am passionate about helping individuals and families overcome life’s obstacles and thrive. My goal is to provide compassionate, supportive care that empowers my clients to improve their well-being and quality of life. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I’m committed to making therapy accessible and inclusive by offering services in both English and Spanish.
